Technology ePortfolios
During my time in Technology, I learnt about ePortfolios and we will be trialling the use of ePortfolios. The ePortfolios will be used to visually showcase the work that we would be doing in Technology. We will use our ePortfolios in each technology subject. We will use our blogs to reflect on our learning. We will also use the Year 8 DigiTech Blog to collaborate on different learning activities. These are the different ways, in which we will share, what we learn.

Technology at Tamaki College
Today was an amazing day today as the Year 7's of Glenbrae School went to Tamaki College and tried to complete as much work as we can. Our class is Wood Technology with Mr Grundy. I had created a Dolphin as my parents love them and kind of reminds them about the Islands. It has been 10 Weeks since I have started with my Pewter Casting and Box. During these 10 Weeks we have used Pewter, Scroll Saw, MDF, Saw, File Set, Sanding paper and help from Mr Grundy! Here is a picture of my Pewter Casting that I have made.

Technology at Tamaki College.
Today, the 14th of October 2016, year 7's from Room 7 went for technology.
We used a lot of materials for a necklace that is in progress. In the last few weeks we had picked a symbol for Technology and got it cut out with a Scroll Saw. When we where done with that process we had put some melted metal into it and waited around 10 minutes for the metal to set.
Once the metal was set, I had the delight to file it and shape it into the actual size we wanted, I made a dolphin. Also I'm in the process of filing it into the correct size. It takes a while to file it but when you get the job done, its all worth it.
This class is the Wood Tech class with Mr Grundy!
