Barbados is located on the eastern part of the Caribbean Island! Barbados set wonderful attraction to tourists and visitors. Their population isn’t very big but they are very kind welcoming people!
They are all about tradition. If you may know local traditions include afternoon tea and cricket!

Music and Dance is what they enjoy the most. “People who say they don’t like music, can’t dance” is what some say! Most will persuade you to dance and next thing you know, dance and music is one of your new hobbies.
Soca dance is one of their traditional dances. Barbados people listen to reggae and pop music created by their own people

In Barbados there is a lot of food that is delighted, like
Flying Fish & Cou-Cou is the most delighted and is practically the delicacy of Barbados.

Barbadian celebrities
Rihanna, Obadele Thomason, Shontelle, Ronald Fenty are originally from here. Robyn Rihanna Fenty, known mononymously as Rihanna, is a Barbadian singer, songwriter, and actress. At 15, moved to America to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. She was obviously successful and is now globally known.
Ronald Fenty is the father of the international singer, Rihanna. Shontelle is also a prominent Barbadian Singer-Songwriter.
Obadele Thompson is a sprint athlete from Barbados. In 2000, he became the first Olympic medalist from Barbados with a bronze medal in the 100m race.

History & extra facts
The Portuguese and Spanish briefly claimed Barbados from the late 16th to the 17th centuries.
War of Three Kingdoms and the Interregnum spilled over into the Barbados and Barbados territorial waters. Barbados was not involved in the war, until Charles 1, when the island’s government went under the control of Royalists.
In 1996 Barbados became an independent state and Commonwealth realm with the British monarch! (presently Queen Elizabeth II)!

Today was Inquiry Presentations, in my group, Luisa, Linda and I collaborated together to create a information stand, quiz and pin point the location. Here is what we had written on our information stand about Barbados!
