On May 9th 2015, Te Oro< was officially opened. Te Oro is an outstanding architecture and has a meaning for the words “Te Oro”. Te Oro is named after the wind blowing across the open crater of Maungarei / Mt Wellington & “Oro”is generic, but acquires meaning through its association with this specific place and mana whenua.
Te Oro is apart of the Glen Innes/Panmure community and delivers diversity, for learning about other cultures.
