Auckland Live ~ Monday 5th December 2016
Yesterday on the 5th of December 2016, Room 8 visited Auckland Live for an awesome day out! We arrived at Auckland Live with excitement, we soon walked into the big hall and got ready for all our separate activities. Room 8 and 9 had our first activity which was with a group of flexible people. We watched each piece of dance/art and kept clapping as it is necessary. Their performance was amazing, then it was time for us to leave for Interval. Soon after interval, we went for a walk to the White Clown Faces which performed really funny! We learnt how to become a clown with Clown Walks, faces and sounds. I also enjoyed that part of the day! The last part of the day was the Stage performance with Ghost Dances and others! We got taught the dance and had a delight of fun!

Technology at Tamaki College
Today was an amazing day today as the Year 7's of Glenbrae School went to Tamaki College and tried to complete as much work as we can. Our class is Wood Technology with Mr Grundy. I had created a Dolphin as my parents love them and kind of reminds them about the Islands. It has been 10 Weeks since I have started with my Pewter Casting and Box. During these 10 Weeks we have used Pewter, Scroll Saw, MDF, Saw, File Set, Sanding paper and help from Mr Grundy! Here is a picture of my Pewter Casting that I have made.

Yesterday Room 8 had visited Kiwi Can for another session of Kiwi Can. Our new catch phase is Respect this place, Treat it like your own, At the end of the day, It's where we call home! I really enjoyed this session of Kiwi Can as we played "Crickby" which is a game that some students had created. This game is really fun and energizing. Finally at the end we revived at score of 25 points.ππ
