Now day’s there are data loggers which is a small battery operated device which can record data like temperature and humidity, over time. Data loggers can even be transmitted to computer sources. GPS are used to track all kinds of animals/sealife. GPS is a small tracking devices which can be used to record data around different devices. Ecologist can attach large GPS devices to Sharks & Whales. When ecologist need to record how many metres can a shark go, they also decided to put a pop up tag with the GPS.
